Thesis Posters
For this project, we had to develop a thesis; one big project to be worked on throughout the entirety of the semester. I chose to make a sequence of nine posters, three posters per set: three sets in total. The purpose of my thesis is to reveal apathy in relation to the lack of change in life and how it can be reversed. The quotes on the posters are directly from Arik Durfee's Apathy poem. The poem is read forward showing the negative effects of apathy, then it is read backwards showing the positive overcoming of apathy. The lines on my thesis sequence are the last three sentences when the poem is reversed.

Process
First, I started by making a mind map of the word 'apathy.'

Then, I made an image matrix to grasp the understanding of my theme and how the images can be placed together in my sequence of posters.

Then, I went onto digitally sketching out my ideas, showing how I would create these posters in a sequence-like design.
